Day 4

G 10：Iran- Lebanon, 78：67

Two teams from western Asia played the first match in day 4.  Although with three players who took part in Beijing Olympic Games, Iran fell behind in the first quarter.  But Iran scored 26 points in the second quarter, taking lead at 39：32.  In the second half, Lebanon tried to make a counterattack. But Amir Amini and Rouzbeh from Team Iran successfully invaded into Lebanon's forbidden zone. Finally, Iran beat Lebanon with 78：67.  Iran clinched their forth win, going into the Championship Game.  On the contrast, Lebanon who lost 4 games was eliminated from the finals.

Mohammadreza Akbari contributed 19 points.  Mojtaba Bordbar performed 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.  Roudy Farraj scored 16 points, the highest of Team Lebanon. Lebanon will meet Hong Kong, China (1W3L) while Iran will face China (1W3L).

G 11：Chinese Taipei- Hong Kong, China, 82：75

The Host Chinese Taipei fought a hard battle against Hon Kong, China.  Because of the numerous turnovers from Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, China launched an 8：0 offense right after the beginning of the game, and thus took the lead at 37：35 in the first half. But Chinese Taipei showed the excellent 3-point skill, catching up in the third quarter.  Besides, the home crowd cheered for their team and gave Hong Kong, China great pressure.  Finally, Lu Cheng Ru made 2 points by free throw, and Chinese Taipei won the ticket to the final.

LEE, Kiu Fung of Team Hong Kong, China scored a game-high 21 points. LIANG Man Hung scored 20 points with 7 assists and 4 steals. The captain of Chinese Taipei Wu Dai Hao scored 19 points with 12 rebounds. Wu Chieh Lung also made a high score of 17 points. Hong Kong, China will meet Lebanon (0W4L) tomorrow, while Chinese Taipei will meet Korea, competing for the qualification to the Championship Game.

G 12：Korea- China, 79：98

     The twins of Team China REN Jun Wei and REN Jun Fei first cooperated together in this tournament.  Because of a tacit understanding, they made a good defense in the forbidden zone at first. But Korea used dual-backfielder strategy, successfully broke into China's forbidden zone.  Korea fell behind by only 1 point at 38：39.  In the second half, outstanding shooter SONG Chang Yong made good shots and helped Korea to take the lead. The final score between Korea and China was 79：98.

     In this battle, REN Jun Wei scored 25 points with 12 rebounds. REN Jun Fei scored 15 points with 8 rebounds. Korea's KIM Woo Kyum contributed 28 points and 11 rebounds while SONG Chang Yong contributed 27 points and 12 rebounds.  China will meet Iran today, and Korea will meet the Host Chinese Taipei.
